For Dr Feldman: After Martial

Your standards, Burton, force you to condemn
A verse not passed into an apothegm.
Forgive me, will you, if I do not die
To earn the moist approval of your eye.

Do one with "phlegm"!

This one is sort of a companion piece to your one which goes "will you not be good temporarily". Or so I thought. Same tone.
